Can Blacklisted South Africans Get a Payday Loan?

If you are "blacklisted" because you are under debt review, have a court judgment, or are in arrears, eKasi Pay Credit cannot approve a payday loan — and we are not a "no credit check" or "blacklisted welcome" lender. We lend responsibly under the National Credit Act, which means we run a credit check and affordability assessment on every application.

Why we can't approve in these cases

Lending to someone who is already under debt review, has judgments, or is in arrears would worsen their situation, and it is not responsible lending. That is why these applications are declined. Be very cautious of any lender promising "guaranteed approval", "no credit check", or "loans for blacklisted" — these are warning signs of unfair or unlawful credit.

    What you can do instead

Once you are in good standing — employed, with verifiable income and no judgments, arrears or active debt review — you may qualify for a small short-term loan. For more, visit our FAQs.
