There is no need to queue at a branch or fax documents. eKasi Pay Credit is a fully digital credit provider: you apply, verify your identity and income, sign your agreement and get paid — all online, from your phone or computer. Loans range from R500 to R4,000, repaid on your next payday.
Doing it online does not mean less protection. We are registered with the National Credit Regulator (NCRCP16640), so your online loan is a regulated agreement with NCA-capped fees, full disclosure, and POPIA-compliant handling of your personal data.

Who qualifies
We lend responsibly — here's who we can and can't help.
You can apply if you are:
18 years or older with a valid South African ID
Employed with a regular, verifiable income
In possession of an active South African bank account that receives your salary
Able to pass an affordability (debt-to-income) assessment and a credit check
We responsibly decline applicants who are:
Under debt review
Listed with court judgments against your name
Currently in arrears on existing credit agreements
This protects you from over-indebtedness and keeps us compliant with the National Credit Act. We do not offer "no credit check" or "guaranteed approval" loans.
What do online loans cost?
Everything is disclosed on-screen before you commit. Your initiation fee, monthly service fee, interest and the mandatory credit life premium (capped at R4.50 per R1,000 of cover) are calculated for your specific loan and presented in your quote.
All charges are within the National Credit Act limits. You will never be charged something you did not see and agree to online first.
Early settlement carries no penalty, so paying off your online loan ahead of schedule lowers your total cost. See a worked example in the loan calculator, then apply for your exact quote.

Every fee is shown in your personalised quote — no obligation, no hidden charges.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions South Africans ask most.
Can I get a loan completely online?
Yes. With eKasi Pay Credit you apply, verify, sign and receive your loan entirely online — no branch visit is needed. Loans range from R500 to R4,000.
What do I need to apply online?
You need to be 18 or older with a valid SA ID, employed with a regular income, and have an active South African bank account. You will verify your identity, income and bank account digitally during the application.
How long does an online application take?
A few minutes. The affordability and credit assessment is automated, so you usually receive your personalised quote immediately and, if approved, funds the same day on business days.
Are online loans safe with eKasi Pay Credit?
Yes. We are NCR registered (NCRCP16640), use secure verification, and protect your data under POPIA. We never charge an upfront fee to "release" a loan — always confirm a lender's NCR registration before applying.
How do I repay an online loan?
By a single debit order on your agreed due date, typically your next payday within about 30 days. You can also settle early at any time with no penalty.
Will applying online affect my credit record?
We perform a credit check as part of every application, and we report your loan and repayments to Experian South Africa. Repaying on time helps your record; only borrow what you can repay.
